A main resource center for Portland’s LGBTQ community, the Q Center connects people to a variety of health and social services. The Q Center recently revamped their information and referral portal which now contains over 390 resource listings for the LGBTQ community in the Portland metro area and beyond. The Quest Center offers primary care, mental health services, HIV/AIDS services, and support for recovering from addictions. The center aims to provide culturally appropriate care to people who are uninsured or under-insured. Over half of the providers and staff identify as LGBTQ. Pivot is a community space dedicated to the health and wellness of all gay/bisexual men and Trans* people with a focus on sexual health and HIV. They offer a variety of programming that is both social and educational in nature, a community and events space, as well as STD & HIV testing.
SMYRC provides a safe, supervised, harassment-free space for sexual and gender minority youth ages 13-23.
The Trevor Project provides crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13-24.
