Advocacy

CCHC fosters collaboration across the Safety-Net Delivery System We facilitate collaboration with our clinic members by facilitating collaborative meetings quarterly to support clinics in organizational change, employee training, and specialized training to address service and systemic issues related to patient care and systemic issues.
CCHC advocacy also includes community organizing with other community-based organizations to influence public policy, laws, and budgets to advance health equity for the BIPOC community, marginalized communities, and children.

Legislative Priorities
CCHC creates legislative priorities yearly with the support of our clinic partners. Our priorities focus on healthcare, children’s welfare, LGBTQ2I+ health equality, financial and food security, mental health, and addiction treatment. As our partnerships grow and the needs of the community change, our priorities flow with those needs.

Coalition Building

CCHC fosters collaborations among 17 healthcare clinics within the Safety-Net Delivery System. We create quarterly educational opportunities for the clinics through workshops, training, brown bag sessions, and guest speakers.

We work with other community-based organizations to build partnerships and grassroots movements to ensure health equity reaches the communities that most need them.
