REALD/SOGI Training and Technical Assistance
Building equity through inclusive, accurate data collection
CCHC supports clinics across Oregon in improving how we collect, understand, and use demographic data to better serve our communities.
Our REALD (Race, Ethnicity, Language, and Disability) and SOGI (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity) training and technical assistance program is designed to help frontline healthcare staff and community health workers (CHWs) deliver more inclusive, culturally responsive care through improved demographic data collection.
Why This Matters
Accurate, inclusive data helps clinics:
- Identify gaps in care and reduce disparities.
- Create welcoming spaces for communities of color, LGBTQIA+ communities, immigrants, and people with disabilities.
- Tailor wraparound services that meet patients’ full lived experience.
