Some of Our Trainings
- Emergency Preparedness
CCHC helps clinics across Oregon’s Region 1 prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies through hands-on trainings, technical assistance, and planning support.
We offer trainings on real-world scenarios—from natural disasters to cybersecurity threats. Some of our past trainings have included:

All our trainings are tailored to the needs of non-hospital clinics and the communities they serve.
- Community Health Worker Training
Community Health Workers (CHWs) are increasingly recognized across clinics and health systems for their role in addressing health related social needs—navigation and patient support.
Recognized across clinics and health systems for their trusted relationships and real-world insight, CHWs are essential to advancing health equity, particularly within communities most impacted by health inequities.
CCHC is proud to be an OHA approved training site for CHW certification and professional development. As one of the few direct service providers in our region focused on CHW workforce development, we are building a CHW workforce that is community-centered, culturally responsive, and equity-driven.Our training programs are built on a popular education philosophy that prepares CHWs to lead change, support patients holistically, and respond to health-related social needs (HRSN)—the non-medical factors that affect health, like housing, food, transportation, and access to social support. Our program equips CHWs with the skills and confidence to lead and grow in their careers.
